The accommodation is a place to rest; the companionship is arranged separately. A Discharge Companion can accompany you from the facility, and a Recovery Companion can stay with you for an agreed period at the hotel.

Do you own the recovery suites?
No. We coordinate stays at independently operated hotels. Your proposed property, room category and booking terms are confirmed before you commit.
Do I have to book recovery support to stay?
No. Accommodation can be coordinated on its own. Many patients combine it with a recovery support package for the first 24–72 hours.
Is medical care provided at the hotel?
No. The hotels are not medical facilities, and our companion support is non-medical. Clinical needs are arranged with your surgical team or an appropriately licensed provider.
How is pricing determined?
Hotel pricing depends on the property, room category, dates and length of stay, plus taxes and any mandatory fees. Your coordinator confirms availability and provides a written quote before you commit.
Can I use my own hotel?
Yes. Tell us where you are staying and your dates, and we will check whether support can be arranged there and whether the property allows the planned companion access.
Accommodation is arranged at independently operated hotels; PSS does not own or operate them. Room type requests are preferences and are not guaranteed. Before you confirm, we identify the property, proposed room category, available amenities and booking terms. If your preferred type is unavailable, we will propose the closest available alternatives.
